  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced apples with granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Layer the apple mixture on top of the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the apples.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool before slicing into bars and serving.
