  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Slowly mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the doughnuts spring back when touched.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
