- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fill each donut cavity about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare the maple glaze by whisking together powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth.
- Dip the tops of the cooled donuts into the glaze and let set.
