- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water or milk
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup fresh fruits (bananas, berries)
- 2 tablespoons nuts or seeds (optional)
- In a saucepan, bring the water or milk to a boil.
- Add the rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the protein powder, honey or maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute.
- Top with fresh fruits and nuts or seeds if using.
Notes
- For creamier oatmeal, use milk instead of water.
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/maple syrup.
