Cajun Shrimp Pasta

A delicious and spicy Cajun shrimp pasta dish enriched with turkey bacon, offering a perfect balance of flavors.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and shrimp. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning and cook until the shrimp turn pink.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, then add the cooked pasta and cherry tomatoes.
  6. Toss everything together until well coated, then stir in Parmesan cheese and cooked turkey bacon.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
  • This dish can be served with a side salad for a complete meal.
