- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix cocoa powder, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Add flour and salt, stirring until just blended.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer, and then top with the remaining brownie batter.
- Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
