Cheesecake Brownies

Indulge in these decadent cheesecake brownies that combine rich chocolate flavor with creamy cheesecake swirls.

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cocoa powder, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add flour and salt, stirring until just blended.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer, and then top with the remaining brownie batter.
  6. Use a knife to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter for a marbled effect.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.

Notes

  • These brownies can be served warm or chilled according to preference.
  • For a richer flavor, add chocolate chips to the brownie batter.
