This Christmas Cookie Lasagna Recipe combines the best of cookies and lasagna into a delightful dessert perfect for the holiday season!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed gingerbread cookies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped cream or Cool Whip
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed gingerbread cookies with melted butter and press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  2. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Fold in the whipped cream until fully combined and spread half of this mixture over the cookie crust.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the chocolate chips and crushed candy canes on top of the cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture on top and then add another layer of crushed gingerbread cookies if desired.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
