  • 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
  • 3 cups shredded apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by greasing it with butter.
  3. Roll out the cinnamon rolls and layer half in the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix shredded apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon; spread over the cinnamon rolls.
  5. Melt butter and pour it over the apple layer.
  6. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla together and spread it over the apple layer.
  7. Layer the remaining cinnamon rolls on top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider drizzling caramel sauce on top before serving.
  • Serving with vanilla ice cream enhances the dessert experience.
