  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Stir in the chicken ham and mixed vegetables.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes along with their juice, and season with chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • This soup freezes well; just cool completely before storing.
