Creamy Lemon Chicken Piccata

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add wine and deglaze it.
  4. Add chicken broth, heavy cream, capers, and lemon juice. Stir to combine.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer until cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

  • For extra lemon flavor, add more lemon juice to taste.
