  • 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 cups vegetable broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rub the pork knuckle with salt, pepper, caraway seeds, and garlic.
  3. Place onions at the bottom of a roasting pan and pour in the vegetable broth.
  4. Put the knuckle on top of the onions and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours until the skin is crispy.
  5. Increase the temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 30 minutes for extra crispiness.
  6. Let it rest before serving.
