  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  8. Drop tablespoons of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
