Delectable 375° Cheesy meatloaf casserole

A deliciously cheesy meatloaf casserole featuring a unique turkey bacon twist.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, onion, garlic, milk, eggs, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, and crumbled turkey bacon. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and shape it into a loaf.
  4. Spread the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly.
  6. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • This casserole pairs well with mashed potatoes or a side salad.
  • For extra flavor, consider adding your favorite herbs and spices to the mixture.
