  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg (for cheesecake layer)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake layer)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the oil, eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish, then pour the cheesecake mixture over it, and top with the remaining brownie batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before cutting into squares.
