Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu

An easy and delicious gingerbread tiramisu recipe that adds a cozy twist to the classic dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese and powdered sugar until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the brewed coffee with the coffee liqueur.
  4. Begin layering by dipping the gingerbread cookies in the coffee mixture and placing them in a dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the cookies.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the cream mixture on top.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • This dessert can be made a day in advance for better flavor.
  • Feel free to add a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top for decoration.
