Ground Beef Enchiladas

Ground Beef Enchiladas are a delicious and easy dish that the whole family will love. This recipe combines seasoned ground beef with cheese and enchilada sauce, all wrapped in tortillas for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion until fully cooked.
  3. Add garlic powder, chili powder, and cumin to the meat and mix well.
  4. Spread a small amount of enchilada sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Fill each tortilla with the beef mixture and some cheese, roll them up, and place them seam-side down in the baking dish.
  6. Pour remaining enchilada sauce over the top and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add jalapeños or bell peppers to the beef mixture.
  • Serve with a side of sour cream or guacamole.
