  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onions and peppers and sauté until softened.
  3. Push the veggies to the side and add ground beef to the pan, cooking until browned.
  4. Mix the veggies with the beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Divide the mixture into four sections in the skillet and place a slice of provolone cheese over each section.
  6. Cover skillet until cheese is melted.
  7. Fill hoagie rolls with the beef and cheese mixture and serve hot.
