Heavenly Hot Fudge Sundae Brownie

A rich and decadent treat that combines the indulgence of brownies with the classic elements of a hot fudge sundae.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the brownies cool before cutting into squares.
  7. To serve, scoop vanilla ice cream over the brownies and drizzle with hot fudge sauce.
  8. Top with chopped nuts if desired.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, add whipped cream on top of the sundaes.
  • Brownies can be made a day in advance and stored at room temperature.
