Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup water (as needed)
  • 1 cup cooked potatoes, mashed
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour, salt, and oil.
  2. Gradually add water to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cumin seeds, garam masala, cilantro, and onions.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each ball into a disc.
  5. Place a spoonful of the potato mixture in the center, fold the edges over, and roll it out gently.
  6. Cook on a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides, brushing with oil if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Can be served with yogurt or chutney for extra flavor.
