  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together rolled oats, mashed bananas, honey, peanut butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.
