One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles

A simple, delicious one-pan dish featuring tender chicken and buttery noodles.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. Add egg noodles and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 8-10 minutes until noodles are tender.
  7. Add butter and stir until melted. Slice the chicken and return to the skillet.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add some grated Parmesan cheese.
