Pesto Pasta with Broccoli and White Beans

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 can white beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup pesto
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; add broccoli during the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  2. Drain pasta and broccoli, then return to pot.
  3. Add white beans, pesto, salt, pepper, and olive oil; toss to combine.
  4. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, add a splash of pasta water.
  • Feel free to add grated Parmesan cheese on top.
