A delicious and hearty twist on the classic cowboy casserole using turkey and bacon.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey and turkey bacon over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup and diced tomatoes to the skillet, mixing them in well.
  4. Spread the turkey mixture in a baking dish and layer the tater tots on top.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
