  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut them into rectangles.
  3. Bake the rectangles for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. In a saucepan, combine milk, sugar, flour, and eggs over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Add vanilla extract and let the cream cool.
  6. Layer the baked pastry with the cream in between the layers.
  7. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and spread on top.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.
