Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and caramel sauce.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  8. Immediately sprinkle with sea salt and cool on wire racks.
