Seafood Fried Rice – A Savory Mix of Shrimp, Crab & Veggies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Stir in shrimp and cook until pink.
  4. Add crab meat and mixed vegetables, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Push the seafood and veggies to one side of the skillet, and pour the beaten eggs into the other side, scrambling until fully cooked.
  6. Add the cooked rice and soy sauce, mixing everything well.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and stir in chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add chili flakes.
  • Use day-old rice for better texture.
