- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
- Add ground beef and taco seasoning, cooking until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
- On one half of each tortilla, layer beef mixture and shredded cheddar cheese. Fold the tortilla over to cover.
- In the same skillet, cook the quesadillas for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet and slice into wedges. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
