Soft Fried Buns

These soft fried buns filled with turkey bacon and chicken ham are a delightful treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 slices chicken ham
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.
  2. Add flour, salt, and vegetable oil. Knead until smooth.
  3. Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough and cut into circles.
  5. Fill each circle with turkey bacon and chicken ham, fold and seal.
  6. Fry in hot oil until golden brown.
  7. Brush with egg wash before frying if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, spices can be added to the filling.
  • Ensure the oil is hot enough for crispy buns.
