- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and butter until warm; add to the dry ingredients along with the egg.
- Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread cinnamon and strawberries evenly.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix cream cheese with a bit of sugar and spread it on top of the warm rolls before serving.
