Sweet and Spicy Garlic Steak Pasta

A tantalizing dish that combines tender steak, flavorful garlic, and spicy elements, served over a bed of pasta for a perfect meal.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, garlic, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Season the flank steak with salt and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
  5. Remove steak from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  6. Add the sauce mixture to the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until coated.
  8. Serve the pasta topped with sliced steak and green onions.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the level of heat by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • This dish can be served warm or at room temperature.
