  • 12 strawberries or any fruit of choice
  • 4 wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit by washing and drying them thoroughly.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring until it reaches a hard crack stage.
  4. Remove from heat and dip each piece of fruit into the syrup, rolling to coat.
  5. Skewer the coated fruit onto wooden skewers and let cool on parchment paper.
