White Bolognese Sauce

A creamy and indulgent twist on traditional Bolognese sauce, featuring turkey bacon for a lighter yet flavorful option.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, sautéing until translucent.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then add the oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Allow to simmer for about 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve over your choice of pasta and top with crispy turkey bacon and Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine when sautéing the onion and garlic.
