  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 pound sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the sausage over medium heat and then remove it.
  2. Add onions and garlic to the pot until softened.
  3. Stir in the potatoes and chicken broth; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Return sausage to the pot, add heavy cream and thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes before serving.
