  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a large Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and add the chopped turkey bacon. Cook until crispy.
  3. Remove the turkey bacon and set aside. In the same pot, add onions and garlic, sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Season the pot roast with salt, pepper, and thyme, then sear it in the pot until browned on all sides.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and stir in the Worcestershire sauce.
  6. Cover and cook in the oven for 3 hours or until tender.
  7. Serve the pot roast with the cooked turkey bacon and onion mixture.
